How to create a survey project in Loop 360

This article will take your through the process of creating a survey project in Loop 360.

The first thing you will need to do is create project categories. Project Categories define areas in which you wish to collect specific feedback about your product or service.

Once you have created your project categories, navigate to the Projects section in the left hand menu.

Once in Projects you will see a green Create button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You will also see a list of other projects you have created if applicable.

Click on the green Create button.

A window will appear where you can enter the Name, Location, and Description of the new survey.

In the Location field, if you have not created different locations within your account you will be presented with the option of Global.

Once complete select "create".

A new project will appear at the top of the Projects list.

Select the newly created project and you will be presented with a new screen with multiple tab options along the top of the page. The default view is the Summary tab, but you will also see tabs for Design, Distributions, Actions, Insights, Responses, and Translations.

For the purposes of this article you will want to select the tab that says Design.

Once you are happy with your survey and have saved it, you can click on the Distributions tab across the the top of the page. Distributions are how you want to share your survey on your channel of choice to your customers. Once in the Distributions page you will see 3 different distribution options: Email Channels, Link Channels, and Kiosk Channels. For the purposes of this article we will be focusing on Link Channels.

Selecting on Link Channels will show a green Add Distribution button, click on this. A pop out window will appear that will allow you to create a new channel or take over an existing channel. Creating a new channel requires a name and a description. Once entered, click on Create.

You will then see the new channel appear with a green Use button, click on this to use the new channel. Once done, the pop out window will close and you will see the new Link Channel created with a QR code and URL link to the survey. This QR code can be downloaded as PNG file and you can share the URL to be used for the survey.
