How to create project categories for your survey project

To create a survey projects you will first need to create Project Categories.

Creating a project category is the first step towards creating a survey project.

In order to create a category, navigate to the Settings menu by clicking the gear icon in the left hand side bar.

Survey categories can be created in the Categories section with a list of different categories to chose from on the right.

Categories are created under the many different question types. The image below gives examples of some types of categories under each question type.

To add a question type you click on the "+" icon and a message box will appear asking for Name, Description and Order. The Order field is there to control the order in which category columns appear in response exports, if no order is configured the category would be listed automatically. Click Save when finished entering this information.

The eye image can be used to make the category visible or not in response exports.

Once you have created all of your project categories, you can now start the process of creating your survey project.

It is important to note that only one type of category can be used per survey question. For example, you can't have the same category be applied to questions of the same type.
