The sentiment of a response comment will render in the Responses list (1) in the form of an icon that is assigned based on an underlying Sentiment Score. Currently, the following sentiments are supported:

  • Very Positive (Sentiment Score of 0.7 to 1.0)

  • Positive (Sentiment Score of 0.26 to 0.6)

  • Neutral (Sentiment Score of -0.25 to 0.25)

  • Negative (Sentiment Score of -0.6 to -0.26)

  • Very Negative (Sentiment Score of -1.0 to -0.7)

Filters can be applied to the Responses list based on sentiment. To do this, click the filter icon (2) and specific the sentiments that will be filtered upon.

Clicking the "View" button (3) in the Responses list will navigate you to a page where you will be able to view a specific response in much greater detail. This view will show even more information regarding the response comment sentiment.

When clicked on, individual responses will contain a new Comment Analysis section if an answered comment question is present. In addition to showing the overall comment sentiment and sentiment score, this section offers a breakdown of the individual sentiments of the phrases that make up the comment. Each phrase has its own Sentiment Score and Sentiment which are denoted by colours where red denotes a negative sentiment, yellow denotes a neutral sentiment, and green denotes a positive sentiment.
