Loop's email template editor supports Merge Tags that allow you to dynamically personalize your email content using data pulled directly from your Tripleseat Integration. These variables are automatically replaced with the recipient's details and event-specific information when the email is sent.
Step 1: Within the Edit Email Design panel, click on the text block where you wish to insert a personalization variable. The Text editing toolbar will appear above the selected block.
Step 2: In the text editor toolbar, click the Merge Tags dropdown. The following variables are available to insert into your email template:
Recipient First Name — the recipient's first name
Recipient Name — the recipient's full name
Reservation Arrival — the arrival date of the reservation
Reservation Departure — the departure date of the reservation
Reservation Rate Code — the rate code associated with the reservation
Reservation Reservation ID — the unique ID of the reservation
Reservation Room — the room linked to the reservation
Tripleseat Event Date and Time — the scheduled date and time of the Tripleseat event
Tripleseat Event Name — the name of the Tripleseat event
Step 3: Click on the variable you wish to insert. The tag will be placed at your cursor's position within the text block. You can insert multiple variables within the same text block to build a fully personalized message. In the example below, Recipient Name and Tripleseat Event Name have been added to the email body.
Step 4: Continue adding variables as needed. In the example below, Tripleseat Event Date and Time has been added on a new line. When the email is distributed, all variable tags are automatically replaced with the corresponding live data from Tripleseat — for example, the recipient's name, the event name (e.g., Annual Gala Dinner), and the event date and time (e.g., June 15 2025 at 06:30 PM EDT).
Once you have added all desired Merge Tags, click the green Save button to preserve your changes. Your email template will now deliver a fully personalized experience for each recipient, pulling live event details directly from your Tripleseat Integration.
